Backstroke because you can breathe freely the whole time, but I wish they had diving starts, b/c I'm slow.

5. 5.   Lane you swim in and why your lane is better than the other lanes on the team: 
   

1 or 2...  because we have a facebook page honoring our awesomeness thanks to Don!

6. 6.   Tell us a little bit about your aquatics/sports background? 
   

Swam competitively from age 8 to 14.

7. 7.   When and why did you join DCAC (any interesting stories associated)? 
   

It all boils down to the Peace Corps: Anne is my sister in the Peace Corps in Paraguay.  One of her good friends down there is named Abby.  Abby and Anne were determined that I befriend Abby's sister (Nell) who swims for DCAC.  A swimming match made in heaven.

8. 8.   What is your favorite kind of swim set/workout and why? 
   

25s and 50s on the clock!  B/c I'm a sprinter.

9. 9.   Do you compete, if so, what competitions are you planning on participating in the next year? 
   

Not sure yet, but I want to compete.

10. 10.    Do you have any swimming/sports goals for the coming year?  If so, what are they? 
    

Yes: determined to get my 50 free time down to when I stopped swimming at 14.  I'm not that fast, but I watch my times carefully and like to see myself trimming off some time.

11. 11.   What do you love most about swimming? 
    

The camaraderie of the team!

12. 12. What do you dislike the most about swimming? 
    

Wearing a bathing suit ... these legs never see the sun!

I don't have a nightstand.

I had to google this.... oh, my... not into it. Sorry!

Nope!  No dramatic behavior from me, thank you :)

I just moved to the area in February so I'm still getting my feet wet here!
